Using the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or submit false, misleading, or harmful content.

Your submissions and content

When you submit your business to be featured, you may provide information, a logo, photos, and other materials (“Content”). You represent and warrant that:

• The information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it on behalf of the business.
• You own or have the rights and permissions to share the Content, including any logos, photographs, names, and trademarks, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

You keep ownership of your Content. By submitting it, you grant CVA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that Content to create and promote your listing on the Site and in CVA’s related advertising (such as flyers and social posts). You can ask us to update or remove your listing at any time by contacting us, and we will do so within a reasonable time.

You are responsible for your Content. CVA reviews submissions before publishing and may decline or remove any submission at its discretion.

Our content

The Site’s design, text, graphics, and the CVA name and logo are owned by CVA or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission, except for your own Content as described above.

Third-party links and embeds

The Site may link to or embed third-party content, such as maps and social profiles. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to keep it accurate and running, we don’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings will produce any particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CVA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
