Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Central Valley Advertising (“CVA,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through centralvalleyadvertising.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you:

  • Submit a business or contact form. This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, hours, website and social links, a short description, and any logo or photos you upload.
  • Contact us by phone, email, or our quick contact form.

We also collect limited information automatically when you visit, to understand how our pages and our clients’ listings perform:

  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, and the date and time of your visit.
  • General device and browser information, and an approximate location (such as country and region) derived from your IP address. We do not store your full IP address as a precise identifier or attempt to identify you personally from it.

How we use information

  • To respond to you and follow up about your business.
  • To create and publish a listing page for your business when you ask to be featured.
  • To measure how listings and pages perform, so we can report results to our clients and improve the site.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the website.

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed to provide our services:

  • Hosting and database providers that store form submissions and serve the website.
  • Map embeds.Listing pages may embed Google Maps to show a business location; your interaction with those embeds is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and analytics

Our website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To measure how pages and listings perform, we use first-party analytics that store a short-lived session identifier in your browser’s session storage; it is cleared when you close the tab and is not used to track you across other websites. Signed-in administrators have a secure session cookie that is necessary for logging in.

Some listing pages embed Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads; that is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.

Your California privacy rights

California residents may ask us what categories of personal information we collect and how we use it, request a copy of the information we hold about you, and request that we delete it. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Data retention and security

We keep submission and contact information for as long as needed to provide our services and for reasonable business and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
